Life in the Minors

Hadlock Field

For nine years Sea Dog fans have been greeted by the statue of their popular mascot,
Slugger, adorned in the teal & black of the Marlins' AA farm team.

It will be a few years before
Boston rebuilds the farm system and
pennants like these appear at the ballpark.

Hit the mitt and win the jackpot!
Each game the jackpot increases by $100.
If a batted ball hits the mitt,
that player splits the jackpot with a local charity.

The playing field existed before the Sea Dogs came to be.
Due to space constraints, the locker rooms were located
in the Expo at a great tax savings.
